Physics Tutor Peoria, IL

I provide private physics instruction for high school students in the Peoria, Illinois area. Sessions focus on developing the reasoning skills needed to interpret unfamiliar problems, identify the governing physical principles, and construct solutions carefully.

Physics is often approached as a collection of formulas and procedures. In practice, strong performance depends more on recognizing the structure of a situation and selecting the appropriate model before beginning calculations. My work emphasizes that reasoning process so that students can handle new problems with confidence rather than relying on memorized patterns.

Most students I work with are local to the Peoria region and meet either online or in person depending on scheduling and preference. Online sessions are also available for students outside the area.

High School Physics Courses

Students I work with are typically enrolled in courses such as:

• Algebra-based introductory physics
• High School Physics
• Honors Physics
• AP Physics 1
• AP Physics 2

Sessions are structured around the student’s current course while strengthening the underlying reasoning skills that apply across physics topics.

Students in the Peoria Area

Many students come from schools throughout the greater Peoria region, including communities such as:

• Peoria
• Dunlap
• Princeville
• Washington
• Morton
• East Peoria

While the work is primarily local, online sessions make it possible for students outside the area to participate as well.
